- Please, has anyone ever had a Amiga 3000 that shorts out the power supply?
- This is a 16MHz 3000, made in Hong Kong, Rev 7.12 (at least it LOOKS like 7.12)
- motherboard.
- After removing ALL the socketed chips and ALL devices that can plug into a 3000, the
- power supply (and I tested with more than one different power supplies!) still goes
- into thermal shutdown.
- No visible shorts, no trauma, no strange jumper settings, no solder blobs, nothing
- unusual-looking on the motherboard.
-
- If you've had this happen, know why it might, or can suggest troubleshooting hints:
- Please contact me!
-
- Thanks.
-
- Ciao!
